Коронавирусы и вирусы гриппа вызывают пандемии, уносящие множество человеческих жизней и сеющие социально-экономический хаос. Возможность прогнозирования особенностей пандемий по характеристикам поверхностных белков вызывающих их вирусов не исследована.</p><p>Цель – охарактеризовать общие особенности спайк-белка и гемагглютинина соответственно у пандемических штаммов коронавирусов и вирусов гриппа в связи с особенностями вызываемых ими пандемий.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Для компьютерного анализа использовали данные по первичным структурам пандемических штаммов коронавирусов и вирусов гриппа, а также штаммы вирусов гриппа эпидсезона 2017–2018 гг. и штаммы вируса гриппа типа В. В белках определяли аминокислотный состав и суммарное количество заряженных аминокислот и аминокислот, образующих в белках внутренне дезорганизованные области.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлено, что увеличение в S1 субъединице S-белка коронавирусов и в НА1 субъединице гемагглютинина вируса гриппа количества аминокислот, образующих в белках внутренне дезорганизованные области, характерно для пандемий с высокой трансмиссивностью, а повышенное количество аргинина и лизина по отношению к глутаминовой и аспарагиновой кислотам было свойственно возбудителям пандемий с более низким уровнем смертности.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Особенности (заболеваемость и летальность) коронавирусной пандемии и пандемий гриппа связаны с количественными составами аминокислот (со сходными биохимическими характеристиками) поверхностных белков у вызывающих их вирусов.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. Coronaviruses and influenza viruses induce pandemics taking away many human lives and seeding social-economic chaos. Possibility to prognose pandemic features on characteristics of surface proteins of their pathogens is not investigated.</p><p>Aim is to characterize the common features of the pandemic coronavirus S-protein and the pandemic virus influenza hemagglutinin in connection with the features of a coronavirus pandemic and influenza pandemics.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and method</title><p>Materials and method. For the bioinformatic analysis the protein sequences of pandemic coronavirus strains and pandemic influenza virus strains, influenza virus strains of 2017–2018 season and also influenza virus type B strains were used. In proteins an amino acid content, the sums of the charged amino acids and the.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. It was found out that the increase of amount of the amino acids forming intrinsically disordered regions in the coronavirus S-protein S1 subunit and influenza virus H1 hemagglutinin HA1 subunit is characteristic of the pandemics with high morbidity and the increase of arginine and lysine with comparison with aspartic and glutamic acids in those proteins is peculiar to viruses inducing the pandemics with lower lethality.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
