Заболеваемость острыми кишечными инфекциями (ОКИ) в Республике Дагестан в 2015 году была выше, чем в РФ в целом в 4,6 раза. В структуре ОКИ выявленной этиологии превалирующую роль играют шигеллёзы. В статье анализируется вспышка шигеллёза, зарегистрированная в 2016 году в г. Махачкала.

The incidence of acute intestinal infections (AII) in the Republic of Dagestan in 2015 was higher than in the Russian Federation as whole, 4.6 times.
