Успех ее выполнения в значительной мере зависит от решения проблем, связанных с продолжающимся использованием трехвалентной оральной полиовирусной вакцины (ОПВ) -вакциноассоциированный паралитический полиомиелит (ВАПП) и вакцинородственные полиовирусы (ВРПВ). Приведена информация о стратегии иммунизации против полиомиелита, предложенной ВОЗ в «Стратегическом плане ликвидации полиомиелита и осуществления завершающего этапа в 2013 - 2018 гг.».</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review presents data on the current stature of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative of the WHO. The success of its implementation mainly depends on the solutions of the problems associated with continuing use of trivalent oral poliovirus vaccine (OPV): vaccine- associated paralytic poliomyelitis (VAPP) and vaccine-derived polioviruses (VDPV).
